The Federalist Society is an organization of conservatives and libertarians seeking reform of the current American legal system in accordance with an originalist interpretation of the Constitution. The Society currently has chapters at over 180 American law schools and claims a membership of over 20,000 practicing attorneys in sixty cities.

On November 11th at 4:00PM, the Fordham Law School chapter of the Federalist Society will host a debate between Peter Schiff and David Epstein, Professor of Political Science at Columbia University, on the question: "Will President Obama’s economic policies lead to prosperity or disaster?"

This debate is open to the public and includes a complimentary Chinese food buffet. The duration is approximately two hours.

Founded in 1968 by Steve Forbes, Michael Mims, and Jonathan Perel during their undergraduate years at Princeton University, Business Today started as a magazine featuring student-written articles, executive-written articles, and executive interviews. Over the past forty years, its contributors have included Richard Nixon, Hugh Hefner, Richard Branson, Vera Wang, Rupert Murdoch, and Peyton Manning. It is run entirely by undergraduates at Princeton University as an independent, non-profit foundation.

The Business Today International Conference is unique for putting top name executives in intimate settings with the top students in the country. It is held in New York City each year, and takes approximately one out of every ten students which apply. This year’s conference is entitled: "Weathering the Storm: The Challenges and Opportunities of a Global Slowdown."

On Sunday, November 22nd at 6:00PM, Peter Schiff will join a panel on the economic crisis beside James Bullard, President of the St. Louis Federal Reserve, and Alan Blinder, current Professor of Economics at Princeton and former member of President Clinton’s Council of Economic Advisers.
